First Week
The first week has been chock full of orientation activities including team building excercises, classes on health and safety, and lots of hands on work in the field. It's been super busy but also lots of fun. I've enjoyed getting to know the 35 other apprentices and look forward to the many weeks ahead of work, studying, and fun. I'm still quite tired from the full work week so i'll keep this introduction short for now. Next week I'll update the site with more background info and additional photos. Enjoy this brief glimpse of the farm, more is sure to come.

The 2001 apprentices!
Our tools waiting to be used at the garden
The solar showers..which are actually pretty great..as long as it's a sunny day!
The Farm Center is the hub of activies for the apprentices. We cook and eat here, have meetings,
get our mail, shower...everything! It's the center of it all.
Inside of the Farm Center. Friday nite Jim Leap (farm manager) and Nancy (2nd yr apprentice)
entertained us with their stringed magic.
and lastly...some luciously sweet strawberries...some of the many perks of living here
